  • I usually send mine out the first weekend of December. That way, they arrive early in the week (you don't get mail on Sundays, so the recipients usually look through their weekend mail all together). Plus, if you send to people who might not be sending one to you (businesses, doctors, etc.), they still have time to return the favor.

    Work on them before Thanksgiving, and you'll be in great shape. Keep in mind, Thanksgiving is late this year, so you'll want to get on it quickly.

  • Buy them NOW (before all the good ones get picked over) and send them the second week of December (the mail is slower just before Christmas).
