How do you play the pokemon card game?

  • my friend just gave me huge deck.


  • LP are based as prizes
    (pick up top 4-6 cards and place them in a row)
    when you defeat an opponents monster you take one of your
    prizes. first to get all their prizes wins the game,
    first to deck out loses the game.

    Draw phase: (draw 7 cards first round=hand) 1 card any other turn
    (fist to go skips his/her normal draw, 7cards in hand)
    main phase: do as much as you like (one energy per turn,
    first turn play a active pokemon on the field and 5 or less
    in your bench (bench pokemon can not Battle but can use
    poke-body powers, if they have them.
    Battle: pokemon battel, (chose one attack) attacks need the correct amount of energy to activate them. if you can't attack then
    End phase: end your turn



  • you bascially put the cards down and take turns "attacking" until you kill every pokemon in the other person's deck..it's pretty easy...
